I have been working with young people and their families for 14 years, as a licensed mental health counselor. I hold a (RPT) registration/certification in Play Therapy. My undergraduate degree in Education was obtained from the University of Indianapolis. My 2 graduate degrees were granted by Butler University (Counseling) and Indiana University (Social Work).
I enjoy meeting people, hearing their stories and helping them create a happier, healthier life. My professional interests include: attachment, grief, family change, ADHD, trauma and mood-related topics. Past work settings include home-based, school-based and out-patient office environments. My training is extensive including: TF-CBT, CBT, DBT, Play Therapy. I utilize Adlerian, solution-focus, client centered, strength-based theories in my practice.
When I’m not in the office, I like to hang out with my family, friends and pets.
